Rep. Jared Polis doesn't want you to know he thinks Diane Ravitch is evil

That tweet is from Colorado state Sen. Evie Hudak, a Democrat.

She is calling out liberal Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colo., who called education analyst Diane Ravitch the “e-word” in a tweet he later deleted. Snapshot of the deleted tweet via Politwoops:

“[Don’t] know if I can bring myself to read another book from that evil woman who is doing such harm to public education,” he tweeted Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers.

From Polis’ tweet, you might think Ravitch is a hard-right conservative. Not exactly. Her new book is titled, “Reign of Error: The Hoax of the Privatization Movement and the Danger to America’s Public Schools.”

She does, however, deviate from the Obama Administration on some issues, such as the Common Core state standards. And that’s why, in Polis’ view, she is not only mistaken but profoundly immoral.

Independent thinking must not be tolerated!
