Mariano Rivera finally had surgery on his torn ACL which the 42-year-old suffered in early May.
Before the operation he thanked his fans for all the support and prayers. Once he woke up from anesthesia, he quickly tweeted again.
My surgery was a success, it went perfectly. I am looking forward to beginning my rehab soon. Thanks as always for your prayers. #GodBless
