Bob Welch, a former member of the iconic band Fleetwood Mac, has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his chest. Police say the 65-year-old’s wife found his body Thursday afternoon.
Welch was a singer and guitarist for the band from 1971 to 1974. He went on to have a solo career.

Rest in peace, Bob Welch. <3 You will be forever remembered through your music. "You can go your own way. Go your own way."

RIP Bob Welch. I'm sure Dave Stewart has pulled his hat even further down to cover his tears. #YeahIKnowNotHim

I can't believe Bob Welch is gone. I had no idea he would do that. I had gotten an e-mail from him a few years ago. We lost Bob Weston too.

Wow…Bob Welch formerly of Fleetwood Mac and great solo work committed suicide. He couldn't have been nicer the times we talked.
