On paper the San Antonio Spurs may seem old, slow and incapable of challenging the young and hungry Oklahoma City Thunder. One statistic people forget to measure is experience. That was the difference maker on Sunday night when the Spurs came back from behind to take game one over the Thunder, 101-98.
The #Thunder are the young, flashy kids who think they're great. The #Spurs are those old guys at the park who always school the youngin's.

The win earned San Antonio an unbelievable playoff-record-matching 19th win in row.
Spurs streak is crazy. If Heat did it, people would be calling them one of greatest teams ever. #boringbutefficient

San Antonio Spurs Beat the OKC Thunder for a 19 Game Winning Streak! #Spurs

If the Heat or Lakers won 18 in a row, wouldn't there be exhaustive 24/7 coverage of "The Streak"? With the Spurs, it's like "oh by the way"

Spurs finish off 101-98 win in Game 1, despite some bleak moments. Streak up to 19 in a row. Still haven't lost since April 11.

Regardless of who you want to win, we can all agree that we’re in for one heck of a series!
This series with the Spurs and Thunder should be awesome. I'm thinking Spurs in 6 myself.

I think the Thunder/Spurs series is going to be better than the Championship series… #thunderup
