Another day, another Tebowing story.
Today Twitchy learned that a high school senior actually had his diploma withheld for Tebowing on stage during his school’s graduation ceremonies.
“I just thought it was fun,” Shriner tells WPTV-NBC. “I was just doing it to make graduation memorable.”
Students and parents apparently burst into laughter as Shriner took a knee and bowed his head as Tebow has done for the past seven years on the gridiron dating to his own Florida high school days. Shriner won a $5 bet for doing it, though contends the money wasn’t a factor.“They said what I did would give underclassmen inspiration to do something else, that it might lead to something else,” Shriner said. “So they were trying to set an example.”
Yet the children who can't read still get their diploma. – Ha! http://t.co/HKevsZ1z

It should be noted that the boy’s mother was allowed to pick up his diploma from the school on Monday after he was forced to clean the gymnasium where the ceremony was held.
