Amare Stoudemire throws a fit, punches through glass and hurts himself; tweets apology

Following his loss to the Miami Heat, Amare Stoudemire decided to take his anger out on a fire extinguisher. While that might sound dumb enough, the fire extinguisher was also enclosed in a glass case which meant Mr. Stoudemire suffered some deep lacerations to his hand.

Due to his stupidity, Stoudemire is almost certain to miss game 3 of the Knicks-Heat series and could miss even more time. Considering the Knicks are already down 0-2 in the series, this pretty much spells doom for New York.

After receiving stitches in his hand, Stoudemire tweeted an apology to fans:
