Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase reuniting

From the Washington Post:

Dan Aykroyd announced on his Facebook page Monday that he and Chevy Chase are working on a script for a comedy film.

“Cannot say too much about the concept, but the joy of working with him again is one that I am extremely excited about,” Aykroyd said. “Chevy is one of my favorite people, and one of the great anarchistic and physically committed comedians in the business.”

The two comedians were original cast members on “Saturday Night Live” in the mid-1970s. Chase left in 1976 and went on to star in a string of successful films, including “Caddyshack” and “National Lampoon’s Vacation.” Aykroyd did the same in 1979, going on to star in “The Blues Brothers,” “Trading Places” and “Ghostbusters.”
