From the Chicago Tribune:
Five people were killed and at least 11 other people wounded in shootings Saturday night and Sunday morning across the city’s South and West Sides.
Three people, whose ages or genders weren’t available, were shot about 1:50 a.m. on the 5300 block of South Loomis Boulevard in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.
Two were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and one was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
One of the three died, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. Ages and genders of the three weren’t available, police said.
Additional information about that shooting wasn’t available early Sunday morning.
