I don't know who Jamie Bonkiewicz is, but I set this post aside on Monday, thinking it might be worth writing up because it was just so stupid.
In America, you are more likely to be killed by ICE than by an immigrant.
— Jamie Bonkiewicz (@JamieBonkiewicz) July 13, 2026
In America, you are more likely to be killed by an illegal immigrant than by ICE. Your chances of being killed by ICE are infinitely small, and get smaller if you comply with their orders. Matt Van Swol ran the numbers and found that 33 illegal aliens died while in ICE custody in 2025, and they weren't shot. They died by suicide or from medical issues. Meanwhile, the low estimate of being killed by an illegal was between 450 and 600 a year.
For some reason, the X algorithm has decided I need to read more Bonkiewicz posts, and here's another winner.
MAGA 2021: “Don’t tell me to wear a mask.” “Don’t force a vaccine.” “Don’t tell me to stay home.”
— Jamie Bonkiewicz (@JamieBonkiewicz) July 14, 2026
MAGA 2026: “Just follow orders.” “Have your papers ready.” “Comply. Don’t die.”
She wasn't alone in that line of logic:
The same "Never Comply" crowd that won't change their thermostat, wear a mask, or use a paper straw turns into "comply or die" the second masked federal agents start gunning down people on American streets.

Don't let them gaslight you into thinking they stand for liberty.
Won't use a paper straw. Yeah, that's the same as being an illegal alien trying to escape from an ICE traffic stop.
I admit it … I'm a hypocrite. I don't think I should be made to wear a mask (even though it seems a lot of DSA members still do in 2026), and I don't think President Joe Biden should have threatened to send OSHA around to fire any employee who hadn't been vaccinated for COVID-19, which Biden assured us meant you wouldn't contract the virus. He did, what, like, three times? After having the jab and every booster afterward. But I do think if you're in the country illegally—or even if you're not—you should cooperate with law enforcement if you get pulled over.

Mass deportation is the moderate option.

How is this difficult for you?
You should be cheering it.

You're not even comparing apples to oranges. You're comparing apples to space gorillas or something.
We are able to easily comprehend situational rationality/risk/reward ratios.

Which is apparently a complex subject for you.
We actually respect law enforcement doing thier jobs legally. You're an idiot who pretends to misunderstand things because your perception doesn't reflect reality.

Non citizens don't get citizen treatment, they should go home.

Some things are imperatives. Others, not so much! If you can’t tell the difference between, natural selection comes for you! 🤡

Are you proposing that we should enforce mask‐wearing and thermostat regulation at gunpoint?
— God's Whale Facts Decider Cow (@inane_gimmick) July 14, 2026
I'm willing to bet he's big on gun control and thinks only the cops should have guns. I also doubt his air conditioner is set at 78 degrees, and he uses paper straws. He's an outlaw, Dottie, a rebel.
Take your own advice

If you are gonna comply with a thermostat request, seems logical to comply with an order from law enforcement
Right?
Any imbecile that decides the time to stop complying is at the wrong end of a gun deserves what they get.

I don't expect you'll ever be smart enough to consider the nuances of these positions. I wish you all the best.

Shocker. We support individual freedom and choice, and also the rule of law. I know the left finds this horrific.
— JMags27 (@JMSMagnets) July 14, 2026
Our immigration laws were passed by Congress, but these people don't want anyone detained or deported, even if they're a child rapist. I like to think that as American citizens, we have liberties that don't extend to people who broke into the country and are living here illegally.
