This could just be a brilliant satire, but I don't think it is. From what I gather, in West Hollywood, there are stickers on the parking meters reminding drivers that they don't have to "feed" the meter on certain holidays. According to this woman, it's disgusting that the city is promoting diet culture. "Don't feed me on the following holidays" is fat-phobic.
It's impossible to figure out what will offend someone next. I know that there's a "body positivity" movement out there in which you're supposed to take pride in being obese.

I love the unintended irony of the sweatshirt and the dilemma she is facing.

XXXL Harvard sweatshirt, and I don't doubt she's a student.

Don't need to know anything about her that the Harvard Sweatshirt didn't tell you.

They are offended by everything.

Is she kidding? 😂😂😂

She appears to be dead serious. If this is just a skit, well done.
Every week it feels like the outrage industry finds a new target. Not everything needs to be a culture war sometimes a parking meter is just a parking meter.

Why is she promoting her unhealthy lifestyle?

The graphic I chose to go with this post — the obese woman doing yoga — comes from the cover of Cosmopolitan. "This is healthy," they declare. It's not healthy. I'm not obese, but I could stand to lose a few pounds. I guess I'm caught up in diet culture.
You are why we are promoting diet culture.

If parking meters are fatphobic, wait till she meets the turnstile at the subway

I absolutely cannot imagine walking around with a giant chip on my shoulder all the time. How exhausting is must be to look for offense everywhere.

Yes, one of the most pressing issues of our generation 🤡

She tells the city that this is a problem. It's not a problem. Depending on how woke the city council is, they just might scrape off all of the stickers and replace them with something less fat-phobic.
