Rep. Zoe Lofgren Outraged That Trump Pardoned Brian Sicknick's Killer

AngieArtist

It's more than a pet peeve, but I don't know what to call it. I've been following the Officer Brian Sicknick story from the beginning. He's the reason Democrats call the January 6 riot "deadly," even though the only person killed was a Trump supporter shot in the neck. Joe Biden still claims that multiple officers lost their lives that day. They justify it by claiming that officers who committed suicide months later had done so because of PTSD from the attack on the Capitol.

The New York Times first reported that Sicknick had been beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. That's the story that got out to the public, even though Sicknick was very much alive. The medical examiner determined that Sicknick had died from natural causes the next day — a stroke. Then people theorized that the stress of January 6 had given him the stroke.

No police officers died on or because of January 6.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren, however, is outraged that President Donald Trump pardoned the man whose attack on Brian Sicknick led to his death.

"Some of the worst, most violent criminals"? Did she see the 37 men whose death sentences Biden commuted? Did she see that in the final moments of his presidency, Biden released a man who shot two FBI agents in the head? Don't pretend you care about law enforcement if you can't condemn that. Don't claim you're outraged.

I'm just so sick of Sicknick being used. Democrats so desperately need someone to have been killed on January 6.

Where are all of those fact-checkers who are so essential to our lives?

Speaking of, Libs of TikTok noted that Biden's blanket preemptive pardon of all law enforcement officers who testified before the January 6 committee doesn't cover the officer who killed Ashley Babbitt. Not that he'll ever face consequences.

Stop lying about Sicknick. It's been four years now since the fire extinguisher story was debunked. Let the man rest in peace.
