'Fae/Faer': Kamala Harris' Website Has More Pronouns Than Policy Proposals

Meme

As we've already reported, the Kamala Harris campaign website opens up with a splash page of donation buttons. After you close that window, you get to the real website, which includes a "Meet Kamala Harris" link but no link to any of her policies or agenda. Donald Trump's website, however, features a "Platform" page listing 20 core promises of the Trump campaign (Agenda 47) and a link to the 16-page official Republican Party platform.

If you'd like to work for or volunteer for the Harris/Walz campaign — and the turnover in Harris' office suggests you don't want to — you have plenty of choices of pronouns. Blaire White notes that there are more pronouns than policies on her site, and she's not kidding. You can be Xe/xem, Ze/hir, or even Fae/faer, which is a new one to us.

That screenshot gets cut off, so here it is in all its glory:

Seriously, what's the chance that anyone is going to use these? "Ey is going to be on the phone bank, if you're looking for em."

Enter faer's.

Does this cover all of the genders or are they missing some pronouns?

You'll open up by giving your name, your pronouns, and a description of what you're wearing.

Harris is just trying to be inclusive, and DEI will be a big part of her administration. Expect all government websites and documents to include these if she's elected.
