Who Are You Going to Believe on Kamalamentum? John Pavlovitz or John Ekdahl?

My favorite stories are those that involve young kids — you know, like when Playboy White House correspondent Brian Karem posted about a young Hispanic kid who saw him and his press credentials on the train and supposedly asked him why the president hates him. Yeah, a kid saw your press credentials and decided to ask you that.

Eight-year-olds seem to be the sweet spot for kids saying woke things. So I was a little disappointed in John Pavlovitz's anecdote which didn't involve little kids at all, but two women of color.

At the grocery store and as I passed the deli counter I heard cheering and clapping.

When I got closer I could hear Vice President Harris’ voice.

Two women of color behind the counter were listen to her speech and applauding.

They looked up and I said “Sounds good!”

One of the women replied, “Yes! Women should choose what happens to their bodies!”
Momentum is shifting.

I was at a coffee shop this morning and the woman in front of me said to write “Kamala” on her cup. The woman behind me said “you go girl!”, then the whole line started clapping. An old man in a MAGA slammed down his muffin, yelled the N word and walked out. Definite vibe shift.

I was wearing this at the grocery store today.

The cashier (in his early 20s) looked at it, shook his head and said, "The problem is, them's fightin' words in too many states, now"

I replied, "And to too many people in this state."

In the span of 10 minutes, a woman with a #LetsGoBrandon sticker drove through the grocery store crosswalk nearly hitting 3 people, and a guy with a "Honk if You Love Jesus" bumper sticker drove into a traffic circle without yielding and gave us the finger. #MAGA being #MAGA
