So it seems like Columbia has the situation under control. Wasn't there a 2 p.m. deadline on Monday to take down the encampment or face consequences? It's still there.
The Hamas sympathizers have branched out, though. According to NBC News, "Protesters stormed and occupied a building on Columbia University's main campus overnight, flying a Palestinian flag from Hamilton Hall after an NBC News reporter saw windows smashed and dozens of protesters entering the building."
I like to use pro-Hamas and Hamas sympathizers to describe these protesters, who chant, "We are Hamas" and call for intifada. No, they don't hate Jews, even though they block them from entering the campus … they're just anti-Zionist. Hamas has said it would commit October 7 again and again if given the opportunity, and these idiots would cheer them on.
Here's video of Hamilton Hall being taken over by student protesters, who've renamed it "Hinds Hall," after a six-year-old girl who was killed in Gaza.
BREAKING: Columbia Occupiers have declared Hamilton Hall is now "Hind's Hall"

Columbia has absolutely lost control of the situation … but they promised not to call the cops again for fear of "inflaming tensions."
Protesters inside Hamilton Hall at Columbia University have hung banners reading “Intifada" after they vandalized and took over a university building last night.

A Columbia facilities worker was “held hostage” as students occupied the hall.
The university asked those "who can… pic.twitter.com/atUhOZq88G
The university asked those "who can avoid coming to the Morningside campus today" to do so.
A society that can't tell the difference between terror and protest is losing its way.
Held hostage? And you're doing what about this?
There is nothing to see here, folks, just a group of young Biden voters dressed up like HAMAS terrorists taking students hostage at Columbia University.

student protesters took over and are now occupying hamilton hall at columbia

scenes of a masked group breaking windows and barricading themselves will cause more people to turn away from, not empathize with, their movementpic.twitter.com/o9UFgOIrjG
And now the occupiers want their occupation catered.
This university deserves everything happening to it. https://t.co/7sNJbJHyx0

Hail Columbia the gem of Hamas.

This is not going to end well
— worldhasgoneMad (@DataSucks) April 30, 2024
The university is promoting insurrection & racism.

But not the poor Jewish students and other normal kids on campus, who want to study
— ThatPersonThere (@mainpersonhere) April 30, 2024
I can't help but feel for the "normal kids" who have nothing to do with this movement and have been forced into "remote learning" and might not have a graduation ceremony. Is anyone looking out for the tuition-paying students who aren't part of this clown show?
Excited my tax dollars are paying off their debt

Cut off all power, water, internet, food and jam phones. Lock doors from the outside. Time for an old fashioned siege.
— Lucieloo (@Lucieloo20) April 30, 2024
Truly unbelievable that the administration is not stopping this.
— Jollie (@JollieRaye) April 30, 2024
How tough would it be for the cops to arrest every student who's broken into this building? But Columbia won't call the cops.
Guess it's official.

Domestic terrorism.
— Investor0x (@Investor0x) April 30, 2024
I doubt many of these people are Columbia students at this point. Breaking in is an automatic expulsion felony and if you paying $80,00 a year to go to Columbia I don't think many will risk that. My guess these are professional troublemakers.

If they want martyrs, maybe they should be given some.
— Heidrun (@moonlitpath56) April 30, 2024
"Our martyrs." You're a bunch of overprivileged white kids cheering on a terrorist group that is still holding American hostages.
From Aidan Parisi, the Hamas encampment leader at Columbia, who today threatened to "burn down" the university.

Columbia has thus far refused to even remove him from campus. pic.twitter.com/5yEwKBc04t
I don't see any way how Columbia gets out of this mess. The National Guard could help, I suppose, but the university probably wouldn't let them on campus … bad optics, you know.
What is the end game here? Israel is not going to call off its war against Hamas because some kids at Columbia cheered on the terrorists.
