AP: Pope Francis Hosts a Luncheon at the Vatican for Group of Transgender Women

Remember that Pope Benedict wrote a book entitled "What Is Christianity" that was to be published posthumously? Has Pope Francis read it? i24 reported:

In a book published after his death, the late Pope Benedict XVI claimed there were “homosexual clubs” in Catholic seminaries and that the next generation of priests was on the verge of “collapse.”

Benedict – who died on December 31 at the age of 95 – charged that some bishops allow trainee priests to watch porn as an outlet for their sexual urges in a posthumous attack on the Catholic Church and his successor Pope Francis’s progressive agenda.

The book “What Is Christianity?” which Benedict instructed be published after his death, is one of a handful of recent novels by conservative Vatican figures to criticize the decade-old papacy of Francis. According to Vatican analyst John Allen, the outpouring of new books contributes to “impressions of a mounting civil war in the Church.”

Also, remember that President Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi also consider themselves "devout Catholics" (even though Biden spent his time in black churches in his Puerto Rican neighborhood).

The Associated Press has posted a video of a busload of transgender women going to meet Pope Francis for a luncheon at the Vatican.

Of course they do.

Are these Catholic trans women?

I'm not Catholic and I'm not going to assume, "What would Jesus do?" But was this really necessary? Did Francis send people looking for a busload of trans women to invite? Hopefully he didn't blame God for putting them into the wrong bodies.
