As I reported earlier, General Mark Milley seemed to be venting some white rage to The Atlantic, saying it was "bulls**t" that the military had gone woke. Of course, it was Milley himself who told Congress how important DEI programs were to get to the heart of white rage.
One of my big regrets is not serving in the military; this would have been in the '80s, or the pre-woke era. (I did spend one day in ROTC though.) I wouldn't want to serve today, though, under people like Milley. The military's core mission seems to have changed to social engineering.
Twitchy favorite Oilfield Rando pulled some examples of totally not-woke expenditures by the armed forces.

"Lived experience."
He knows. He's just pension-padding on cruise control until he retires.

I guess Miley has a different definition of “woke”. It sure smells like woke to me.

It’s broken and woke

Proud and fierce in their identity, the Marines have a singular race problem that critics say is rooted in decades of resistance to change. A handful of white men rule over 185,000 white, African-American, Hispanic and Asian men and women. https://t.co/C3YvLQMr41

It's kind of a giveaway that the Times used the adjectives "proud" and "fierce." Remember when the Marines celebrated Pride Month on Twitter with an illustration of rainbow bullets?
Throughout June, the USMC takes #Pride in recognizing and honoring the contributions of our LGBTQ service members.
