As we’ve reported, everyone from California Gov. Gavin Newsom to Florida Agricultural Secretary Nikki Fried has asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for kidnapping and human trafficking for flying a whopping 48 migrants to the sanctuary community of Martha’s Vineyard last week. (Yes, it’s been a week, and this is still a top story — DeSantis knows how to push buttons.)
According to Judd Legum, migrants who were flown to Martha’s Vineyard have filed a class action suit against DeSantis.

There are allegations that DeSantis lied to get the migrants on the planes by handing out brochures promising them housing and jobs — brochures from sanctuary state Massachusetts promising them housing and jobs, that is. One plaintiff says he felt helpless, defrauded, and desperate and started crying despite the hospitality of the kind liberals of Martha’s Vineyard.
"Upon arrival in Martha’s Vineyard, Plaintiff Yanet Doe felt helpless, defrauded, and desperate. She started crying. She felt anxious and confused. As a result, she suffered from lack of sleep and vertigo."

Incredible. She was given a map, told where she was going, and signed a release. She also travelled thousands of miles on foot to cross the border illegally. But only going to Martha's Vineyard voluntarily gave her vertigo.

If Martha's Vineyard, one of the nicest places in the world, caused those issues, imagine how she would've felt stuck in some Texas border town!

I bet if she went home she would feel much better.

Only 3 of the 50 illegals filed suit and they are all in the same family. Someone got to them and convinced them to move forward.

I've never taken a private, charter flight or been to Martha's Vineyard, and if it's worse than the journey from Venezuela to the US/Mexico border, I probably never will.

Did she arrive in the US in such comfortable transportation as the plane?

Now that is some creative lawyering. Sounds like the kind of stuff that personal injury lawyers come up with whose clients wear neck braces to the courtroom.

DeSantis gave an illegal immigrant vertigo. 🤦🏻♂️
— G in the Lou (@GintheLou) September 21, 2022
I suffer from real vertigo. It comes from my ear crystals being out of wack – not from being flown into a wealthy part of the country.
This is incredibly insulting to people like me.

This editor’s wife also suffers from vertigo caused by a crystal loose in her inner ear. Maybe she’ll join the suit.
She should go home and recover…😂

Does Judd laugh embarrassingly as he tweets things like this, or is he really outraged at the vertigo charge?

Ship her back home. If Martha’s Vineyard and traveling in airplanes is more traumatic than walking thousands of miles thru deserts and swamps she will never assimilate. I have zero sympathy and will donate her one way ticket ‘home’.

We knew someone would file suit, but she’s going to argue that DeSantis made her cry and gave her vertigo?
