CNN's Chris Cillizza declares that 'this is a HUGE night in Washington'

You know what else is a HUGE night in Washington? Nerd Prom, when journalists play dress-up and maybe bump shoulders with Hollywood celebrities. But we’re talking about the January 6 select committee’s prime-time hearing, and we’ve been promised all sorts of fireworks. To our eyes, things are creeping along pretty slowly and we’re not sure where the money went to jazz this up for TV.

CNN’s Chris Cillizza, however, declares this “a HUGE night in Washington.”

Honestly, what happened to the TV producer they hired? Rep. Liz Cheney is just droning on telling us what we’re going to see in future hearings. We’re not impressed.
