Minister of Truth Nina Jankowicz tells how men 'burst violently into your mentions' like the Kool-aid man

We’ve been assured by the Left that we’re all being paranoid about the Department of Homeland Security’s new Disinformation Governance Board, headed up by the Mary Poppins of disinformation, Nina Jankowicz. We’ve been told that the board is meant to protect U.S. citizens from foreign disinformation campaigns, like the “fairy tale about a laptop repair shop.” So why was Jankowicz on a Zoom call suggesting that only trustworthy people like herself should be verified on Twitter and should be able to edit other people’s tweets to “add context”?

DHS Secretary Ajelandro Mayorkas couldn’t tell the Senate much about the hiring process behind Jankowicz’s appointment, aside from she was the only one interviewed. But she’s an expert on disinformation, and even wrote a book called ” How to Be a Woman Online: Surviving Abuse and Harassment, and How to Fight Back.”

This isn’t a new tweet, but it’s another of Jankowicz’s that’s going around. It links to sections of her book excerpted and published by WIRED.

Wow, that’s tough. Jankowicz writes:

The trolls may write differently, or lash out differently, or become grotesquely fixated on different parts of your appearance or background, but ultimately, what motivates them is engagement with you. This, they hope, will encourage you to finally shut up and make room for their infinitely more worthy thoughts. Then they will get the blue check, the TV appearances, the bylines. They will curse and block and post hot takes with alacrity and abandon. And in their mind, the internet will praise them for it. Their motivations are undoubtedly repulsive, but I find that humor is a good antidote to troll-induced repulsion.

Jankowicz notes that she has tens of thousands of anonymous followers because of her work, so we’re guessing her opinions are always correct.

This guy obviously hasn’t received the memo that a white man’s job is to shut up and amplify women’s voices, nothing more.

The more we learn about our new Minister of Truth, the more convinced we are that the board she heads needs to be dissolved immediately.
