Have you noticed how many people still won’t say the name “Donald Trump” on Twitter or elsewhere? He hadn’t been in office for a month before Bernice King, daughter of Coretta Scott King, sent around some wise advice, with step number one being, “Don’t use his name; EVER (45 will do). We’ve seen tRump, Drumph, and most recently TFG (the former guy) going around. So we found it curious that in its statement to new Twitter owner Elon Musk, the NAACP told Musk not to allow “45” to return to the platform. They still won’t say his name.
And that’s the big fear for lefties. Donald Trump had a huge following on Twitter before he was banned in the fear he’d use tweets to incite another “insurrection.” If he gets that following back, it will be a huge draw for those hoping he runs in 2024. But the NAACP says it’s concerned about hate speech.
NAACP statement: "Mr. Musk: free speech is wonderful, hate speech is unacceptable. Disinformation, misinformation and hate speech have NO PLACE on Twitter. Do not allow 45 to return to the platform. Do not allow Twitter to become a petri dish for hate speech."

Free speech is good as long as I like the speech. Otherwise it’s bad. https://t.co/NK7piFLOhx

The “National Association for the Advancement of Colored People” is demanding that the President responsible for the highest minority employment rates in the history of America not be allowed a free speech platform.
Let that sit on your mind for a moment. https://t.co/zAy7KGPIWw

I agree. Hate speech, misinformation and disinformation should not be tolerated! Ban the NAACP from Twitter! https://t.co/EgFWCtWi8z

Check it out … they’re already refusing to type “Musk”:
Yeah- my worry with M*sk dismantling the safeguards is that hate speech will abound.
Hate speech is NOT free speech. https://t.co/OE1clASuH4
