Are you hearing this, Elon Musk? Of course, the Left now believes Musk to be a villain for his “free-speech absolutism” — never mind the fact that he’s revolutionized the electric vehicle industry with Tesla Motors. Twitter, in what we assume was an Earth Day announcement, had said it will no longer accept advertising from groups that “deny the scientific consensus on climate change.”
We’d like to note the subtle difference in wording between the tweet text and the headline. Is Twitter banning advertisers who deny the “scientific consensus” on climate change, or ads that “contradict science” on climate change? It’s a subtle but important difference, as any good scientist will tell you that science is not based on “consensus,” and yet it’s a wiggle word used by big names such as Al Gore. Do you know where they got that number showing that almost every scientist believes in climate change? From a review of published articles in scientific journals … and do you think the same scientific journals that are now saying there’s no scientific basis for there being two genders are willingly publishing papers from climate change skeptics?
Twitter says it will no longer allow advertisers on its site who deny the scientific consensus on climate change, echoing a policy already in place at Google. https://t.co/k81ii345em

The AP reports:
“Ads shouldn’t detract from important conversations about the climate crisis,” the company said in a statement outlining its new policy Friday.
There was no indication that the change would affect what users post on the social media site, which along with Facebook has been targeted by groups seeking to promote misleading claims about climate change.
The announcement coinciding with Earth Day came hours before the European Union agreed upon a deal requiring big tech companies to vet their sites more closely for hate speech, disinformation and other harmful content.

Can we point out yet another red flag? Why conflate hate speech, disinformation, and other “harmful content”? Of course, the queen of disinformation, Hillary Clinton, urged our transatlantic allies to follow the EU’s crackdown on free speech.
“Echoing”
That’s the key word.

So not following real science like Google. Gotcha.

Twitter & Google will no longer allow advertisers who deny that cities on the coast of the US will be flooded by the year 2000.

So once again a differing opinion will be silenced.

Ah yes. The Science™️

But honestly, there are a number of people in “science” that disagree with the approved message on causes and impact. This just means we have turned “science” into a consensus.. I’m sure that’s never been a problem throughout human history..

"Scientific consensus" says climate change started in the 20th century and the evidence it's caused by humans is irrefutable. That's not only scientifically illiterate, it's completely wrong.

The earth’s climate had been absolutely stable for six billion years until SUVs became popular.
How about disagreeing with the solutions "the scientific consensus" proposes? Is it ok to disagree with clearcutting land for solar & wind farms? Is it ok to support nuclear power & natural gas? Mob science consensus doesn't do the world any favors either.

Good point, and a good way to smoke out any frauds in the climate change business … ask if they support nuclear power.
