Nikki Fried comes up with clever 'Don't Say DeSantis' policy, gets owned by Christina Pushaw

We just saw a tweet about Walt Disney World by the AP’s White House correspondent which, like so many others, mentioned Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which does not exist. There is no such bill, and there’s no prohibition against saying “gay.” But it’s been the policy of the mainstream media to just align with liberal activists and call it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill — and they’re worried about disinformation.

Opponents of the Parental Rights in Education bill decided to burn several hundred thousand dollars on billboards in Florida that just said, “Gay.” This was even after the bill had already been signed into law, and remarkable, no one posting these billboards was arrested or imprisoned for using the forbidden word.

Florida agricultural commissioner and gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried’s keeping the heat on, though, with scorching takes like this:

Solid burn.

In a few years, you can say, Mr. President.

Fried was so ahead of that rumor that she denied it before it had even become a rumor.

All of DeSantis’ opponents seem to have grown tired of calling him DeathSantis now that the COVID scare is over.
