Daily Beast columnist says if 'we' walk out the door the moment Elon Musk takes over Twitter, 'it is nothing'

We didn’t recognize the name David Rothkopf, but after reading his tweet, we assumed he was one of the higher-ups at Twitter and the “we” he was speaking of was the employees — if “we” walk out the door, Twitter is nothing. But it turns out he’s a columnist for The Daily Beast and on the board of contributors at USA Today … so he’s an opinion writer. So we’re assuming what he’s saying is that if Elon Musk takes over the company and “we” — liberal journalists — walk out the door, there’s nothing there.

Are we reading that incorrectly? Twitter will just shut down if he and people who think like him delete their accounts?

Imagine Twitter without left-wing journalists. Their constant griping and virtue signaling are what keep the site going.
