We didn’t recognize the name David Rothkopf, but after reading his tweet, we assumed he was one of the higher-ups at Twitter and the “we” he was speaking of was the employees — if “we” walk out the door, Twitter is nothing. But it turns out he’s a columnist for The Daily Beast and on the board of contributors at USA Today … so he’s an opinion writer. So we’re assuming what he’s saying is that if Elon Musk takes over the company and “we” — liberal journalists — walk out the door, there’s nothing there.
We are the assets of @Twitter. If we walk out the door the moment @ElonMusk takes it over, it is nothing. And, I can tell you, I for one, have no desire to participate in the social engineering experiment of that particular out-of-control megalomaniac.
