We’re now getting to the backlash against the backlash against Disney. As we reported Wednesday, CNN’s Brian Stelter mocked conservatives for making their theme going into the 2022 midterms “protecting kids from the dangers of … The Walt Disney Company.” Many people reminded Stelter that Disney picked this fight; the company really had no stake in the teaching of sexual orientation and gender identity in elementary schools, but a vocal minority inside the company made CEO Bob Chapek buckle and take a stand against the Parental Rights in Education bill.
What really got people fired up about Disney, though, were videos from the all-hands meeting Disney had after the fact posted to Twitter by anti-critical race theory activist Christopher Rufo, showing executive producers telling about how they were trying to “add queerness” wherever they could. And now Rufo is back with more videos showing Disney executives pushing for more LGBTQIA+ content.
NEW: Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau says she identifies as a "bi-romantic asexual" and that she wants to "use [her] content" at Disney to educate children about "the pockets of the LGBTQ community that you don't see," such as the asexual community. pic.twitter.com/gNJ0CItgqV

Uh oh … we forgot that Wednesday was International Asexuality Day and didn’t celebrate such sexual orientations such as greysexuals, quoisexuals, caedsexuals, and allosexuals.
NEW: Disney corporate president Karey Burke, the "mother of two queer children," says the company has been "targeting Gen Z and millennials" with LGBTQIA+ "inclusion" content. Her son told her that "Gen Z is 30-40% queerer" and that Disney "better get with it." pic.twitter.com/CYYD7NqKZg

Well, if her son told Disney to get with it, we suppose they have no choice.
I did not understand a word of what she just waffled on about.

NEW: Disney CEO Bob Chapek grovels, apologizes, and pledges to "be a better ally for the LGBTQ+ community." He delegated the company's moral authority to the "LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council" and now those internal activists have taken him as an ideological hostage. pic.twitter.com/efOSOmb47a

Crazy stuff. I feel sorry for the vast majority of Disney employees who have to sit through these ridiculous meetings.

When did it become appropriate to announce your sexual preferences in a professional setting?

This is exactly what you would expect to happen when our professional creative class gets completely separated from the concept of creating the future through families. “I want to create content for me” rather than “I want to create content for my children.”

“I’m not really sure what I am, but I’d love to help your children identify what they are.”

Nailed it.
So a spoiled little rotten kid who will never work a day in life is manipulating his Karen mommy to do what he wants?
— JelloPudding 🍊 (@JelloPuddingAce) April 7, 2022
Well, mommy was so focused on her career, they had to do something to get her attention.

Freire strikes again. Children as holders of special knowledge and parent "learning" from the child.

"My kid's doing it, so your kid should too."

It should be interesting to see the effect of catering to employees rather than shareholders.

Update:
There’s more:
NEW: Katie Barnes, a "black, queer, and trans" they/them, told her Disney colleagues that "holding the company accountable means unpacking [her] own pain." This is a textbook example of how identity activists use the rhetoric of "trauma" as a tool for emotional manipulation. pic.twitter.com/xXzcVscCGv
— Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️ (@realchrisrufo) April 7, 2022
NEW: Disney has adopted a benefits program to assist employees and their minor children with "gender affirmation procedures." This type of treatment typically includes puberty blockers, breast removal, and genital surgeries for "kids who are transitioning." pic.twitter.com/a2zSSboe0S
— Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️ (@realchrisrufo) April 7, 2022
The collection of sexual identities in the Disney videos is remarkable: a "bi-romantic asexual," a "black, queer, and trans [they/them]," a "mother [of] one transgender child and one pansexual child."
It's almost as if they're a way to gain status in elite institutions.
