It’s always a treat when Ben & Jerry’s sends out a new tweet. Maybe they’re mad because President Biden keeps being photographed coming out of other ice cream places, or maybe they’re just commies who sell pricey ice cream. They’re pleaded with Biden not to send troops to Ukraine, as that “only fans the flames of war.” Hey, they voted for the guy.
You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war. ⁰⁰We call on President Biden to de-escalate tensions and work for peace rather than prepare for war. ⁰⁰Sending thousands more US troops to Europe in response to Russia’s threats against Ukraine only fans the flame of war.

Is @benandjerrys also calling on Russia to de-escalate now that the Kremlin is sending additional fighter jets to the border area?

You voted for him, you idiots! Biden isn't capable, but Peace through strength is how you achieve peace. Did Ben or Jerry ever attend a high school course?

Guys.
Isolationism and appeasement are the reason so many of us don't have relatives in Europe.

Talking ice cream tries into politics, but for some reason omits the fact that Russia already wages a war of aggression on Ukraine for 8 years already and now threatens Ukraine with new invasion and more war.
And Russia actively rejects all attempts to resolve this diplomatically— Walter Lekh (@walterlekh) February 5, 2022
Explain how Ukraine, a country that was already invaded by Russia in 2014, should de-escalate short of simply surrendering.

We call @benandjerrys to focus on making ice cream, and not moral or political statements.
