Quillette founder and Australian contributor Claire Lehmann gets off to a strong start by proclaiming that wokeism and critical race theory are bad, obviously. But now that states are taking legislative steps to keep things like critical race theory out of school curriculums’ Lehmann wonders where the “anti-woke machine” is going to stop … certainly not at some elementary school curriculum.
Wokism is bad, and CRT is bad, obviously. But if you think the anti-woke machine is going to stop at some elementary school curricula then you are either wilfully blind, or preciously naive.

It's more like introducing it early on normalizes the ideology. The fight to remove it from school curricula is to fight that normalization. It's definitely better than doing nothing.

Over reaction (anger-driven) isn't always bad. Without it people will just push on something until you complain, then wait, regroup and try again stronger/smarter/quieter. Over reaction raises the price of f*ckery and also can allow threats to be more permanently ended.
