It’s simplifying things a bit, but it’s not too far off to say that President Joe Biden kicked off his term killing off an American pipeline and giving one to Russia. Liberals insisted for years that President Donald Trump was Vladimir Putin’s puppet, even though Trump gave the OK to sell lethal weapons to Ukraine — something the Obama/Biden administration wouldn’t do. Trump also supported sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and Sen. Ted Cruz has a bill sanctioning the pipeline.
Jake Sherman is reporting that the State Department has dispatched officials to lobby Senate Democrats to vote against Cruz’s bill.
