Earlier Monday, White House Press Secretary didn’t exactly clear things up when she was asked if voting rights crusader Stacey Abrams would be attending President Joe Biden’s speech in Georgia on Tuesday:
REPORTER: "Will Stacey Abrams be joining the president during any of these remarks?"
PSAKI: "There will be a number of elected officials joining us…" pic.twitter.com/Yb0LvrQeDf

Did Psaki mishear the question or does she think Abrams is an elected official? Well, it’s later in the day now, and we’re learning from an aide that Abrams will not be attending Biden’s speech, in which he’s expected to reiterate his call for a filibuster “carveout” to get “voting rights” legislation passed. It seems there’s a conflict keeping Abrams away.
New: @staceyabrams will not be able to attend Biden's voting rights speech tomorrow in GA due to a conflict, an Abrams aide tells me and @reidepstein

Stacey can't change her schedule to stand with Biden and Harris as they discuss her top priority?

When she finally came around to accepting that she lost, she firmly placed the blame on “voter suppression,” even though there was record voter turnout.
