We recently posted a pretty lengthy thread by a man explaining why he was moving from the Bay Area to Miami, “despite the worse politics.” Plenty of Floridians tried to talk him out of coming and bringing the rot he was fleeing to their beautiful, free state. They’ve even come up with a term — “locusts” — for these people who destroy their cities with liberal policies, move to a conservative state, and then vote for more of the same.
We’re not sure why the Associated Press thought this was worth a story, but “someone” in Palm Beach had placed fliers on New York-licensed cars asking the “woke” to please leave. Christina Pushaw got a kick out of it:

In case that gets cut off: “Palm Beach Police say someone placed fliers over the weekend on New York-licensed cars parked on the wealthy island reading, ‘If you are one of those ‘woke’ people — leave Florida. You will be happier elsewhere, as will we.”
Police are investigating? Investigating what?
The AP explains:
In a political context woke means the person is aware of issues of racial and social justice.
Some conservatives, however, use the word as an insult against liberals, saying it means the person is overly sensitive and moralizing.

I was recently returning to Florida after visiting my kids in North Carolina. At rest areas, I noticed multiple NY and PA license plates. Those were the people arriving in masks then walking their dogs, outside, alone, with masks on. Please, check you liberalism at the border.

It’s amazing that the police got involved somehow and that the AP actually picked this up as a story. Then again, that clown lawyer dressed up as the Grim Reaper got all sorts of airtime.
