As Twitchy reported, Bubba Wallace appeared on ESPN Tuesday night to reflect on the noose that was found in his garage stall at Talladega Superspeedway last year. ESPN left no doubt in its tweet that it was indeed a noose, even though they also reported that the FBI had investigated and found that the noose had been there since at least October of the previous year before Wallace found it in June.
Here’s NewsBusters’ Curtis Houck with some clips from the show, in which Wallace’s sister calls the FBI’s conclusion “bulls**t” and Wallace insists it was a noose; “That took time to do,” he maintains.
One word to describe Bubba Wallace that I'll admit I didn't accept until the last few months — narcissistic

Here's what I think the problem is — Bubba, like everyone (and I mean everyone — even those who claim they don't), wants to be liked and enjoys the spotlight to a certain extend.
And, with that and the woke-ification of just about everything, he sees the aura of the fame.

Last point on this for now — Bubba has repeatedly said he doesn't care what people think about him.
But based on how much he's talked about people not respecting him, how much racism he's said he's put up with, how people want him to fail, etc. — he sure does seem to care!

I will say this about the Bubba Wallace special on ESPN — the sections on Wendell Scott and Bubba's parents fighting/divorce/severed relations with him are powerful.
I've long known this, but Wendell Scott went through while having the success he did was incredible. #NASCAR

Okay, now this part lamenting the fallout from when it was concluded Bubba Wallace wasn't the victim of a hate crime and it wasn't a noose but a garage pull.
His sister says the FBI's conclusion is "bulls***," the doc equates those denouncing him as racist kooks, and on and on. pic.twitter.com/5NkPrz0X9s

Bubba Wallace maintains it was a noose left for him: "Look at the picture. What's it look like to you? Is that a noose…or is that just another fisherman's knot?….No. That took time to do."
He adds fans booing him are "sad," lack "facts," & that his life is better than theirs pic.twitter.com/BLu61Pyf0J

Bubba's ending: "We were all brought here for a purpose and it's not to hate each other b/c of the way you look….I don't know if my purpose is to drive race cars…That's why you're tested every day to figure out what your purposes in life. Hating somebody? It's taught." pic.twitter.com/jQsv2nzMlF

There goes the FBI under the bus.
