And? Washington Post reports that Travis Tritt will sing the anthem before Game 6 of the National League Championship Series

It seems kind of odd that the Washington Post is dedicating entire stories to who’s going to be singing the national anthem before National League Championship Series games, but they’ve determined that country singer Travis Tritt being on deck for Game 6 is news. Why? Because Tritt opposes vaccine mandates (but not vaccines, not that Merriam-Webster makes a distinction anymore in its definition of anti-vaxxer) and has canceled shows on his tour at venues that require proof of vaccination. Why hasn’t he been canceled, essentially?

That’s exactly the point.

Has the Washington Post vetted all of the other national anthem singers lined up and ensured they’re pro-mandate? How about the players?
