Schools ask parents to send rain gear with children as they're required to eat lunch outside due to COVID

We thought it was bad enough to see photos of kids in school cafeterias separated by plexiglass panels, but at the Davis Joint United School District in California, students “are required to eat lunch outside at this time due to COVID restrictions.” That’s why schools thoughtfully sent home a rainy day lunch announcement requesting parents to send their kids to school in rain gear and possibly with a change of clothing in their backpacks.
