As Twitchy reported, President Joe Biden met with U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the Oval Office Tuesday, and U.S. reporters were rushed out of the room by White House aides before they could ask questions. A lot of people assumed Biden was about to fall asleep, but we couldn’t fault Johnson for falling asleep if he had. Johnson had ridden on Amtrak, which gave Biden another chance to repeat a debunked story about how he’s traveled 2 million miles on Amtrak.

According to CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale, Biden also told slightly contradicting stories in October, April, and June. “Biden was friends with the Amtrak conductor at the center of the story, Angelo Negri. But Negri had been dead for more than a year — and had been retired for more than two decades — before the earliest moment they could conceivably have had the supposed conversation Biden keeps describing,” Dale wrote.
