Austere religious scholar? Stars and Stripes says Capitol cop killer was remembered 'as a stalwart defensive back' on his football team

Sen. Ted Cruz on Friday had a prediction about the attention the media would pay to the Nation of Islam follower who killed a Capitol Police officer with his car and attacked another with a knife before being gunned down.
