As Twitchy reported Monday, an anecdote that Kamala Harris told ELLE for its October issue about demanding “fweedom” as a toddler at a civil rights march seemed to mirror almost exactly an anecdote that Martin Luther King told Playboy in 1965, only this time the little girl demanded “fee-dom.”
People did a little more digging and found out that Harris had included the anecdote in her books as well. And now Tom Elliott of Grabien Meida has video of Harris telling the story to Jimmy Fallon, and also the Washington Post editorial board’s Jonathan Capehart.

In July, @KamalaHarris tells @CapehartJ the same story, this time embellished with more detail pic.twitter.com/hT3zRFVgql

Author, “The Truth We Hold.”
ICYMI, Harris’s “fweedom” tale is oddly similar to a story MLK told about a girl who attended one of his marches https://t.co/QiXj98PTY6 pic.twitter.com/y9nV43PPyg

Don’t be surprised: storytelling and lived experience ( false or true: any means justify the supposed good cause) are at the heart of Critical Race Theory.

Isn’t Harris going to feel compelled at some point to come out and straighten this out? Or is there a reason Biden doesn’t let her talk at their joint “press conferences”?

Update:
I’ve justed watched about 25 interviews with Harris over the last year & can report this is her #1 go-to story about her childhood … and it’s lifted from an MLK interview w/ Playboy in 1965.
