Rep. Ilhan Omar endorsed Bernie Sanders for president back in October, and now her daughter, who is the co-founder of U.S. Youth Climate Strike, has shot a campaign video, arguing that Sanders is the candidate fighting the fossil fuel companies that have caused flooding in her home country of Somalia. Having Sanders run fossil fuel companies out of business is one way to stop the flooding in Somalia, we guess.
"Historically, movements have had young people at the forefront and the climate movement is no exception.
Bernie has been there since Day One fighting alongside all the young people across the country."

AOC chief of staff wapo interview: The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all. Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the- entire-economy thing.”

There’s always been floods. Nothing new.
— I_Am_Nobody (@AndIDontMatter) December 7, 2019
I am quite sure there have been floods in Somalia for millennia.

This is an infrastructure issue……

There were young people at the forefront of Jim Jones’ movement too.

It’s a “movement” alright…

Can we say indoctrination
— Charles McGee (@Charles84688175) December 6, 2019
Indoctrination is a common tactic of socialism.

Promoting fear based on a hoax isn't going to end well.

The last time we helped your mother’s home country we lost 19 of America’s best.
And your mother didn’t appreciate it…preferring to tweet that they killed “thousands of Somalis” and signing off with #NotTodaySatan. pic.twitter.com/rzN7UVryeh

Black Hawk Down. Nuff said.

Those Somali men were just out for a walk about when the angry invaders flew into the city.

I too frequently take walks with automatic weapons.
(For legal reasons, this is a joke.)

Years ago, the waiting room outside the CinCs office at #SOCOM had a very somberly lit, portrait memorial to #RandyShugart and #GaryGordon. Not sure if still there but it was a poignant reminder of the real cost of America trying to "fix" the world's problems.

Ilhan Omar’s daughter. How much is she getting paid to be a climate activist? Cashing in like Greta Thunberg
— Zombie Dachshund (@ZombieDachshund) December 7, 2019
Good for her, maybe Bernie can use one of his many jets to fly her back to her “motherland” since she’s more worried about them than Americans!
— RyJax ?? ⚓️?? (@ZL1_RyJax) December 7, 2019
I’ll buy her a plane ticket…

Ah, slaying the big energy corporations in the name of the climate God. So that’s Bernies plan? Kill the very thing that has allowed the human race to rise above the pitiful existence prior to fossil fuels? Brilliant! Let’s all go back to dying at 50!
— Brad Lawrence (@imcamodl81) December 7, 2019
Good thing her endorsement doesn’t mean a thing. She clearly was raised to hate America if all she can discuss is Somalia flooding. What about America’s lands that are flooded? Or America’s lands that are burning? Or America’s people who are suffering? Get a grip kid.

More than happy to send a helping hand to a country and people that appreciate it.
Somalia isn't one of those countries.
It is overtly hostile to America. Let it, and Ilhan Omar, quickly devolve into oblivion.
— BARON Jon Bresdonan (@bresdonan) December 7, 2019
Arguing that electing Bernie Sanders will slow “climate change” in Somalia is going to be a hard sell for a lot of Americans.
