As CNN told us back in September, the world’s first vagina museum was scheduled to open in London in November after a crowdfunding campaign raised $62,000. The museum, we were told, would “educate visitors about vulvas and vaginas while challenging the prevailing stigma surrounding them,” according to development and marketing manager Zoe Williams.
We hadn’t heard anything since then, but now we finally have photos of the gala grand opening of the Vagina Museum, and it’s all we dreamed it would be.
Two weeks ago today, we held a special invite-only party to celebrate the opening of the very first Vagina Museum. @aallenphoto was there to document this historic occasion… pic.twitter.com/ynDRKi7vdN

Opening a museum of vaginas makes everyone feel giddy, giggly and fun. It's been so long in the making and we've all got reason to smile!

Personally, I’m reserving my excitement for the opening of the Eustachian Tube Museum.

The "vaginas" look like fancy cocktails ?
— katie (@amygrilling) November 30, 2019
Wait, those are vaginas? I could definitely make out the giant bloody tampon in the background, but still have no idea what the cocktail looking things are.

I love when feminists reduce themselves to their genitals.

Feminist: "I'm not defined by my body"
Also feminist: "Let's have a museum about our body parts!"

This doesn’t seem inclusive to transgender women. Women have penises too.

What's the over/under on how long this place stays open?
— Jeffrey Nelson (@JeffreyTNelson) November 30, 2019
According to CNN, this is just a temporary location. And the first exhibition is called, “Muff Busters: Vagina Myths and How to Fight Them.”
There are things we didn't know we needed, and then there are things we know we don't need. Ever. At all.

So is this like the Louvre for vaginas? How does the curator determine which vaginas are historically significant and worthy of display?

Questions
1. What do you sell in the gift shop?
2. What does the museum smell like?— Chris (@cboltttt) November 30, 2019
To any guys getting excited just reading this, trust me when I say you don't want to be within 1,000 feet of this situation. It's not at all what you think it is.
