We could have gone to any celebrity’s Twitter feed to find an anti-Trump screed today, but NBC News decided to publish an op-ed by Robert Redford. Not surprisingly, Reford says it’s time for Trump to go, but at the very least he seems to think the 2020 election is how it’s going to happen.
Robert Redford for @NBCNewsTHINK: America is in crisis. It's time to rid ourselves of President Trump. https://t.co/VudaROih4Y

We’re up against a crisis I never thought I’d see in my lifetime: a dictator-like attack by President Donald Trump on everything this country stands for. As last week’s impeachment hearings made clear, our shared tolerance and respect for the truth, our sacred rule of law, our essential freedom of the press and our precious freedoms of speech — all have been threatened by a single man.
…
We’re at a point in time where I reluctantly believe that we have much to lose — it is a critical and unforgiving moment. This monarchy in disguise has been so exhausting and chaotic, it’s not in the least bit surprising so many citizens are disillusioned.
We haven’t heard “monarchy in disguise” before and we have no idea what that’s supposed to mean, anyway. We all know if Trump were removed from office and Mike Pence became president, that would be a theocracy and “The Handmaid’s Tale” come to life, but a monarchy? That’s just stupid.

I'm so happy the Democrat Party has once again turned to Hollywood to get their message out. It worked so well in 2016.

Finally. An op-ed from Robert Redford.

If there is a crisis in America, it’s not Trump. It’s the far left that doesn’t want to coexist with the right and wishes to impose its will on everyone else

Remember when all those Hollywood types got together and made a video begging electors to flip their votes to elect Hillary Clinton, even though she lost? Yeah, that was democracy at work.

Yeah, the stock market is higher than ever, unemployment is lower than decades, the wall is being built and consumer confidence is high. America is in crisis!!! Robert Redford is a dumba$$!!!

Robert Redford's use by date has expired. He is old news and should go back in hibernation.

The country is experiencing great growth in addition to the fact that he is handling diplomacy very well. If you look at his accomplishments it is staggering to claim we should get rid of him. I guess you will have a chance to do that on election day.

Because when I need to understand what’s going on in this country, I turn to Robert Redford and Hollywood. ?

How do you explain that the federal registry has gone from 95000 pages to 61000 pages then? Also the utter lack of executive orders? It’s likely what he have here is an unhappy moonbat venting instead of a constitutional crisis.

With all these actors telling us how to think, you’d think Hillary would’ve been president? When are Americans going to understand that Hollywood should be running the country?
— Scott Ludwig (@scottlud) November 26, 2019
Hollywood actor opposed to the President! Next thing @NBCNews will report is sky blue, Koalas cuddly, and @RepAdamSchiff is a liar. Ok that last one won't be reported by NBC because it hurts their narrative (that most Americans are yokels that were decieved by #POTUS )

Redford is literally in La La Land. The rest of us are enjoying peace time and a robust economy.

….well if a Hollywood actor says it, must be true

The only thing in crisis is the democratic party.

Three years later and Hollywood is still a bunch of hyperbolic, overdramatic, elitist ninnies.. ?
