Chris Cillizza says Trump especially calls people of color stupid, cites AOC's economics degree

We honestly think we’ve been over this before, or even seen a video supercut of President Trump (and candidate Trump) calling people stupid. He does it a lot. More than a few times Trump has referred to, say, Rep. Maxine Waters as “an extraordinarily low IQ person.” Of his 2020 rivals, he’s said “Sleepy” Joe Biden is his choice because he’s “the weakest mentally.”

CNN’s Chris Cillizza has done his analysis and concluded that Trump “especially” insults people of color as stupid.

Trump is also well-known for insulting Cillizza, who has in his Twitter bio Trump’s assessment of his as “one of the dumber and least respected of the political pundits.”

Here’s Cillizza’s hot take on Trump calling “The Squad” “young, inexperienced, and not very smart”:

On what, you might ask, is Trump basing that conclusion about the intellectual capacity of these four female progressive Democratic members of Congress?

After all, it’s hard to imagine that Trump suddenly gained access to IQ tests for the four. Or that Ocasio-Cortez’s double major in international relations and economics at Boston University or Tlaib’s law degree from Western Michigan University were evidence that they weren’t smart. Omar graduated from North Dakota State University. And Pressley went to Boston University for two years before she dropped out to help her out-of-work mother.

What then, could it be?

The answer of course is that all four members of “The Squad” are a) women and b) people of color.

He actually went there. Cillizza cited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ “double major” in international relations and economics, which led her to introduce the $93 trillion Green New Deal which earned exactly zero “yes” votes in the Senate, including from senators who co-sponsored it.
