We make fun of Jim Acosta and his “Dear Diary” tweets, but the master of the “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey” post is former FBI director James Comey, who on Sunday posted a photo of tall trees captioned, “So many questions.”
That one got some great responses, but so did this post from Saturday on the benefits of geologic time:
Geologic time offers useful perspective. pic.twitter.com/tbnjjbt8rE

Speaking of doing time …
You're so in love with yourself. Please keep these coming, Comey. These are hilarious.

Geologic time offers useful perspective when caught between a rock and a hard place.

Since I've seen you so often talk about doing the right thing for your country: Voluntarily come clean. Expose EVERYTHING. Expose players who've managed to divide America with this hoax for two years.
If you care, put America before self-preservation.https://t.co/iLR5EDK4NP

Peering over the edge of the abyss puts things in perspective, also.

Ponder that as you are doing time.
sham investigation of Clinton, false affidavit to FISA court, attempted coup on elected US President using fake dossier paid for by HRC and DNC to foreign agent & from Putin/Russia, criminal leaks. Your time will seem geolgic #Treason— Paul Revered (@paulrevered1776) March 25, 2019

This guy brought shame, on the FBI, from the top down! A Bureau, that should have never, ever, been involved in things such as this! Shame on him! Just because he is so tall, he thinks he is above reproach, above the law, above a President. Ego/Pride at the worst!

I hear ya, @comey. I always go to the ocean and stare at the waves when I feel bad about being a traitor to my country, getting fired from the FBI, covering up for Hillary Clinton, trying to start a coup d'etat and leaking confidential info to the press. Stuff like that bugs me.

You won't see any collusion from up there either, James.

Actually … Steel bars offers true perspective

Solitary at GTMO would offer a slightly different perspective. Time to reflect.

Yep. Your 20 year sentence won’t seem as long that way. pic.twitter.com/iepnRhGXL5

Yes it does. And it may be possible that one million years from now, people will look back at this time in history and think that you weren’t such an awful and corrupt FBI Director.
Nah.

2017-2019 is all your fault. At some point you have to own it

It takes hitting the bottom to start enjoying an otherwise simple yet fulfilling life. Think of the mentoring you can do for fellow inmates. Good start Jim!

It's time for you to get further out in the airwaves. You need to tell us *everything* you know.
— Hannah (@Hannahgrant1787) March 25, 2019
Rather than resorting to zen like mantras, ‘I’m sorry’ might be more appropriate at this juncture, Jim.

I just want to know who’s taking these pics and imagine how silly you must look arriving at the scene, deciding where to shoot, handing the camera off and posing with the intent of trying to come off profound. ? ? ?
