We’ve already written about CNN’s Brian Stelter being scolded by former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien, so we thought we might do a post to cheer him up. Like Stelter, we’re going to be watching Fox News tonight to see if Tucker Carlson even shows up for his broadcast after this burn from Monday night:
"Not so long ago, America had prestige media outlets," but not anymore, Tucker Carlson says. So… I guess he doesn't think Fox is prestigious? pic.twitter.com/OHD3NsGThb

Epic mic drop there.
Stinging barb, Costanza, have another double malted !
— Pat McCool (@THWND73) March 5, 2019
Not that Stelter cares, but what Carlson was talking about was the rise of “news” outlets like Teen Vogue and especially cat-obsessed BuzzFeed (“How Cat Are You? Take this QUIZ MEOW!”) and its publication of the bogus Steele dossier, a document no other media outlet would report on because it was unverifiable.
Check it out for yourselves; it’s a great segment:
So relax, Stelter … he wasn’t even talking about CNN. No one on Fox News ever does; ever notice that?
You don’t like him because he calls you “that weird little kid.”

JFC. Your like a middle-schooler with this crap. Something Beavis & Butthead would say…
— John Gray (@JTAG32) March 5, 2019
Why do so many of those at CNN watch Fox? I guess they want to learn how to be #1. They could start by reporting the news.
— Joespina24 (@Joespina39) March 5, 2019
How childish. And to think you draw a paycheck #BrianSucksHisThumb

Be careful or @MarkDice might make you cry to @jack again.
— Johnnie Johnnie (@deluckmeister) March 5, 2019
You’re the fact checker, “Reliable Sources” guy? He didn’t mention names, why are you so defensive? ??
— Paul Hoang (@PaulHoang1229) March 5, 2019
At least, Stetler, Fox will be in business for the foreseeable future. I don't think CNN will last to the 2020 election.
— George Ousley (@ExcellGeo) March 5, 2019
We’re pretty sure CNN will stick around, even if it’s trailing offerings like “Dr. Pimple Popper” in primetime.
Do you have any idea how silly u look picking on the number one show and network when your whole channel is tanking?
— BD (@bdsurf1) March 5, 2019
Check their ratings, then check yours.
— Michael Hoffman (@CapsExaminer) March 5, 2019
There’s a better chance of you growing a full head of hair than there is of you getting better ratings than @TuckerCarlson.
Face it, you’ll never be @FoxNews & be #1 in cable news. Stick to what you excel at…FakeNews.— JIM BAUR (@JIMBAUR) March 5, 2019
Hmmm
I wonder what would make him think such a thing. pic.twitter.com/1wsHLpAaRl— Raymond Donald (@ldiablo22) March 5, 2019
I think that glass house you live in has a "FEW" cracks
— MotownBry60 (@brianh382) March 5, 2019
From the Network that coordinated with the DNC , gave questions to the Dem candidate before a debate, made up stories and fired writers, stacked Bernie’s townhall with Dem Operatives. Shut up idiot.
— kidnya (@kidnya) March 5, 2019
Hey, only most of that is true. No, actually it’s all true.
But yeah, all of you guys have really gone downhill and no amount of crest white strips is gonna bring you back. CNN has completely shit the bed. Everyone knows it.
— Ham Flannery (@HamFlannery) March 5, 2019
Yeah, that’s exactly what he meant. It is nice to know you watch his show. How else will you get true information, certainly not from watching your employer.
— Mike Knoke (@mike_knoke) March 5, 2019
You ALL lie and ALL try to push an agenda. There is NO reporting like there was many moons ago. There are none that can be trusted to tell the truth. It's why independent reporters are winning against you.
— Terri Zerr (@terri_zerr) March 5, 2019
Psstt… He's talking about you, nincompoop…
— Ron Shimmer (@Golyk) March 5, 2019
No he’s talking about you and your “network,” which looks more and more like satire every day.
— Finbar McAllister (@FinbarMcAllist1) March 5, 2019
I think I'm going to flip over to MSM so I can depress myself to a point at which any sort of happiness will only be possible if it involves pain or insult to someone else.
Today @Morning_Joe looked like someone shot their monkey.
— Harry Ballsagna (Гаррі кульки на тебе) (@XxSeriezxX) March 5, 2019
Carlson’s right: America did at one time have prestige media outlets. Too bad Stelter doesn’t see that.
