As Twitchy told you the other day when we wrote about this story, no one in the mainstream media would pick it up. And maybe for good reason; there’s about as much proof it’s real as there was the Trump dossier was real — but Buzzfeed News published that in full anyway.
In short, an anonymous man set up a Twitter account and linked it to a lengthy Google Doc in which he told of an incident in which Booker, a hero of his, allegedly forced him into a bathroom stall at work, clearly expecting oral sex. Again, we don’t know if it’s true, although the accuser did have a clear recollection of when and where it happened and said he contacted Ronan Farrow, who strung him along and eventually blew him off.
We’ll be honest: if someone wanted to get back at Booker for his histrionics at the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, this would be the way to do it. But why provide so much detail? The best we can say is click the link above and read the man’s story.
One outlet that did pick it up was LGBTQ Nation, and they are clearly not in the #BelieveSurvivors camp. In fact, they even bring up Russian bots.

Is it just a right-wing hit job? Imagine the outrage if someone had suggested that Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegation was a left-wing hit job …
Democratic Senator Cory Booker, a potential presidential candidate in 2020, has been accused of sexual assault by an anonymous gay man on Twitter. But is the allegation true or a right wing smear campaign targeting a single popular politician?
With Russian bots promoting fake news regularly about Democratic politicians and right wing activists deliberately making up stories in an attempt to take out Democrats, many are expressing skepticism about the source of the allegation against Booker.

Does anybody in the mainstream media want to look into this? The accuser even gave the name of a lawyer he consulted: Harmeet Dhillon of the Dhillon Law Group. Why not have a reporter give him a call just for kicks?
