Here’s a great catch by the Free Beacon’s Brent Scher: get a load of the byline on the New York Times latest hit piece on SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, this story reaching back to his undergraduate years at Yale.
As an undergraduate student at Yale, Brett Kavanaugh was involved in an altercation at a local bar during which he was accused of throwing ice on another patron, according to a police report https://t.co/j5gSrkHMp5

Hmm … the piece was co-written by Emily Bazelon. Wonder if she’s the same Emily Bazelon who calls herself a staff writer for the NYT Magazine and tweeted this about Kavanaugh the night before his nomination:
As a @YaleLawSch grad & lecturer, I strongly disassociate myself from tonight’s praise of Brett Kavanaugh. With respect, he’s a 5th vote for a hard-right turn on voting rights and so much more that will harm the democratic process & prevent a more equal society. 1/2

Those are fundamental values we try to instill in our students. They matter more than collegiality and credentials. 2/2

The New York Times isn't even pretending anymore. The byline for the latest hit piece on Kavanaugh is a woman who stated her opposition to him on July 9.https://t.co/y9b4i9B2ca pic.twitter.com/REadULW4LR

It’s not like she’s using the delay brought to us by Sen. Jeff Flake to smear Kavanaugh or anything.
No report of an arrest. Could have been expunged, I’m told. https://t.co/W3J4wr2Sp7

Whoa, Kavanaugh reportedly threw ice at a guy. He just doesn’t have the temperament to serve as a Supreme Court justice.
And she spent the weekend at the Austin liberal fest interviewing Eric Holder. Not a political thing at all!https://t.co/wzeZ1A3IZL

This moment in journalistic brilliance comes on the same day @HashtagGriswold reports on the New York Times holding a get out the vote event with Bernie Sanders. https://t.co/pstVl40Hog

Well, they have to write about something this week while the FBI does some more interviews.
Tell me @emilybazelon who tweeted this anti-Kavanaugh message is not the same @emilybazelon who wrote this NYT story. If they are the same person, the NYT has some explaining to do. Are they trying to prove they’re biased? What are their standards? Reporters shouldn’t do this. https://t.co/o5fdsrhN6x

The New York Times? Standards? ?

All about the swing vote and she is not hiding it. Everything else doesn’t matter to her. How far do you take “resist” – look past ethics? Break the law? How far?

Another good question:
She went to Yale Law and is a NYT reporter? I guess Yale Law isn't all that great.
