As Twitchy reported earlier, NBC News’ Ken Dilanian got his panties in a wad after President Trump’s called on Daily Caller reporter Saagar Enjeti today.
What was I saying earlier about Trump’s pet media. He actually called on the Daily Caller. Next up: Sputnik.

It took a few hours, but Dilanian got some backup from his colleague Chuck Todd, who went to bat for him after another tweeter called him out.
Media claims it’s horrific when @POTUS supporters critique the media. You scream “death of free press” & “putting journalists at risk.” But then @chucktodd is fine with attacks on news outlets that don’t share his Liberal world view. Double standards are Chucky’s only standards.

Oh please. There are news organizations and troll farms. Learn the difference.
— Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) July 30, 2018
Maybe NBC News can do a special on troll farms so its viewers will have the tools to distinguish between real news and troll farms like The Daily Caller.
Political Director of NBC trying to deligitimize a media outlet seems kind of newsworthy.

Don't tell Chuck where Kaitlin Collins used to work. https://t.co/d3uz20fIbF
— BT (@back_ttys) July 31, 2018
Yeah, what happened to all of that solidarity when Fox News stood behind CNN and (Daily Caller alumnus) Kaitlin Collins when she was barred from a Rose Garden event? Guess that kumbaya moment didn’t stretch past the major cable networks.
Really @Chucktodd—@DailyCaller isn't part of the press? https://t.co/rIZcC3hvOZ
— Mickey Kaus (@kausmickey) July 31, 2018
Also, Kaitlin Collins literally used to work at the Daily Caller!!! Does that make her a “troll farm” reporter?? The hypocrisy from you people is astonishing. https://t.co/HHoCnfl89e
— Joe S (@JosephS2424) July 31, 2018
You must be ok with @kaitlancollins getting thrown out then. Since she used to work for a troll farm and all.

Chuck's mad cause conservative-leaning news organizations are being let in the room. https://t.co/fI2O6YlvsG

They're a legitimate org. But by all means, stay honest in public on how you really feel, it's useful.

Funny criticism from a guy that, along with David Gregory, has completely ruined a long running news franchise. It belongs on MSNBC at this point. Totally biased and shameless about it.
— BradyLand (@DrunkenPromises) July 31, 2018
What are the odds that @brianstelter will include this “attack on the free press” in the next addition of his “news”letter? Zero to NONE. What a bunch of flaming hypocrites you all are.
