Not news! April Ryan pretty excited that Eric Holder is 'seriously considering' presidential bid in 2020

As Twitchy reported back in June, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder made a speaking appearance in New Hampshire and made it pretty clear he was seriously considering a run for president in 2020.

Never mind that he was the genius behind Fast & Furious, was held in contempt of Congress, and says his biggest regret during his tenure was labeling Fox News reporter James Rosen a co-conspirator in an espionage case and subsequently spying on him — but, hey, President Obama still thinks his administration was scandal-free.

None of that will matter to Democrats, however, and on Thursday, White House correspondent April Ryan broke the news that everyone’s known about for a while now.

We especially like how the objective and unbiased Ryan ended that tweet with an exclamation point. Us, we’re just not feeling the excitement — not now and not when we last heard this breaking news story.

Holder personally told reporters in NH in June that he was actively considering running. On his though process: "First and foremost, can I win. I wouldn’t be involved or something simply to make a statement. I would only decide to get involved if I thought I could win." https://t.co/deo6ol1ygp

Apparently, he thinks he can win — but will Fast & Furious help sink his campaign like Hillary’s homebrew server did for hers?
