The main talking point among Democrats and the mainstream media today upon hearing that Justice Anthony Kennedy was retiring was that there should be no confirmation hearings for a new justice until after the midterm elections — that blue wave that’s coming this fall will ensure there are enough votes to block any of President Trump’s nominees.
Igor Volsky of the Center for American Progress has a slightly different take: he’s insisting that there be no confirmation hearings until Robert Mueller’s report is released, in light of the “overwhelming evidence” that Trump colluded with Russia and stole the election.
In light of the overwhelming evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to undermine our democracy and sway the 2016 election, there should be no confirmation hearing or vote on Justice Kennedy’s replacement until we see a full report from Mueller.

We’re pretty sure that’s not how it works, but nice try.
BWAAAAAAAAAAA-hahahahahahaha!!!!
Could you please provide us with the overwhelming evidence of which you speak?
I didn't think so.

Igor is defiantly living in the tortured alternate reality that Hillary Clinton created for him. You don't have to keep doing this.

Um, can you please cite for me any of this 'overwhelming evidence'?
— Chris McAllister ❌ (@themanfronUNCLE) June 27, 2018
So I'm sure you'd be able to share some of that evidence with us, yeah?

Could you please list the overwhelming factual evidence that you referenced? Please use only verified facts, no assumptions, opinions, etc. I look forward to your response, yet highly doubt you will provide one, which is the playbook for you and your friends.

Where is this evidence? Seriously?
— Sea-Dweller (@art_grove) June 27, 2018
If you’ve seen “overwhelming evidence”, you’d better give it to Mueller. Because he’s got nothing.#WitchHunt

You have a strange definition of overwhelming.

Let's just freeze the whole government until after Mueller issues his report, after which Hillary can be installed. What will you do when Mueller's report turns out to be nothing but unsubstantiated rumor and innuendo?
— Joe (@r4d4665) June 27, 2018
OK, we can go ahead an impeach him too if you'd like. That way, Pence can nominate the next Justice. #StopBeingAnIdiot
