It seems like we’ve already written this post a few times; just as expected, as soon as President Trump signed an executive order that would prevent families from being separated at the border, the goalposts moved, and the new complaint was that families would be detained together while their cases were processed.
Sen. Marco Rubio appears to have seen the end game pretty clearly:
