Here’s a brilliant move by CNN: have Anderson Cooper delve deeper into Roseanne Barr’s offensive and racist tweet by bringing on … her ex-husband, Tom Arnold?
Exclusive: Tom Arnold, Roseanne Barr's ex-husband and former writer on "Roseanne," weighs in on the fallout tonight with CNN's Anderson Cooper at 8pm ET. https://t.co/wV85wo0DAv pic.twitter.com/sdvJz2PauW

This Tom Arnold?
Tom Arnold is a liberal superhero now?
Let's be outraged by Roseanne's tweet, MEANWHILE praise the guy who told Candice Owens to "suck racist d**k"
Did you forget this tweet, CNN? pic.twitter.com/g5SVNhRfqg

Hey, he deleted it and apologized, so let’s all move on.
OK, then. Here’s a taste of what CNN’s viewers got:
"I had a feeling this was going to happen when I first heard it coming back, that there was a reboot … when I read her social media, in the very beginning … I just knew that this would not end well." Tom Arnold, Roseanne Barr's ex-husband https://t.co/iSu35kPzuI pic.twitter.com/cilN4Vly7l

Is it just me or did Tom Arnold (ex-Mr. Roseanne) seem either manic or hopped up during his appearance on @andersoncooper @CNN tonight?!?
— Chip Coffey (@chipcoffey) May 31, 2018
Maybe there’s another explanation?
Several people alerted me to the fact that Tom Arnold suffers from ADHD. I was unaware. That would explain his erratic behavior on TV earlier tonight.

So @CNN is not fake news… but they have been interviewing Tom Arnold for the last 30 minutes, and he's either on cocaine, or he's short circuited his rambling mind. #DumbestShitOnTV
— Rick Ingraham (@RickIngraham) May 31, 2018
@CNN @andersoncooper why did you have @TomArnold on except for cheap ratings? He couldn’t do one single coherent sentence! He just rambled on like a drug addict!
— Garret Hutchens (@GarretHutchens) May 31, 2018

Hey, maybe it will turn out to be huge ratings boost for CNN … and speaking of ratings:
CNN's primetime lineup isn't doing so hot.
The network is currently sitting at #12 behind HGTV, TBS, NBC Sports, The History Channel, Investigation Discovery, and The Discovery Channel.
