There’s some planet (California, maybe) on which Jimmy Kimmel and Chelsea Handler are considered not just activists but comedians. As Twitchy reported, funny man Kimmel was called out by both liberals and conservatives Friday evening after using gay sex as a punchline for a shot at President Trump and Fox News host Sean Hannity.

A “bottom joke” that was extremely insulting and homophobic? Is Kimmel stealing material from Chelsea Handler now? Because she tweeted this about Attorney General Jeff Sessions Friday morning:
Jeff Sessions is definitely a bottom.

Perez Hilton, who was no fan of Kimmel’s tweet either, sent a warning shot Handler’s way.
Liberals would definitely be outraged and think tweets like these are not funny if a conservative sent them! https://t.co/vwrEhdcvbe

Can we please develop humour and satire beyond "aha gay sex" https://t.co/TMKhUpqpW6

Dear gay people: liberals think you are the punchline of a joke. https://t.co/f35C5NirsD

You know when your joke is "lol he gay" there is a word for that.
Homophobic. https://t.co/GN90J73neO

"Bottom" isn't a punchline. "Gay" isn't a punchline. That aside, how are you this bad at jokes? https://t.co/aWCw4noWBe

Cisgender hetero “allies” making jokes about conservatives in which the punchline is the politician being gay, especially in a sex position that is often labeled as being submissive with implied weakness is so very tired.
Stop co-opting our language. It’s not cute. https://t.co/91E3QtJkpx

making jokes about homophobes being tops or bottoms, which is referencing gay sex, is not funny. “homophobes are deep down gay” jokes are extremely disrespectful and put our suffering on our own hands by saying “gays hurt each other via repressed feelings”. it’s not cute or funny https://t.co/XoqmMoMf25

This kind of rhetoric is more harmful/exhausting than people realize. Bottoming shouldn’t be an insult. Proud of all my brothers and sisters that proudly take it up the butt and want to be excluded from Chelsea Handler’s narrative. ✌️❤️ https://t.co/AOhc0qpmmh

Wow a comedian using gay culture and lifestyle as the butt of the joke. Stellar, original, fresh. All adjectives I’m not going to use you homophobic bridge troll. https://t.co/eZ9e3BVmtM
