Boycott the NYT? Another think piece on Bill Clinton's 'naughty indiscretion' riles supporters

As Twitchy has reported, ever since MSNBC’s Chris Hayes suggested in a tweet that Democrats “are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations” against Bill Clinton, there has been an explosion of think pieces written about the former president. Articles in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Vox, and other liberal outlets keep asking if it’s time for Democrats to take an unvarnished look at Clinton and the accusations of sexual assault against him.

On Wednesday, it was The New York Times’s Peter Baker’s turn to ask, “What about Bill?”

What about him?

Baker writes:

The cultural conversation about women, power and sexual misconduct that has consumed the United States in recent weeks has now raised a question that is eagerly promoted by those on the political right just as it discomfits those on the political left: What about Bill? While Fox News and other conservative outlets revive years-old charges against Mr. Clinton to accuse Mr. Moore’s critics of hypocrisy, some liberals say it may be time to rethink their defense of the 42nd president.

A lot of people don’t think it’s time to rethink the Bill Clinton era.
